About the Sales & Marketing Excellence Awards

The Showpad Sales & Marketing Excellence Awards (SAM Awards), are designed to recognize best-in-class sales enablement deployments from customers and partners, who’ve proven to be true leaders and innovators.

Demonstrate the impact Showpad’s platform has had on buying experiences, in terms of ROI or transformation. Provide detailed insights into improvements experienced through your sales enablement strategy.

Collaboration through sales enablement
Detail how your sales enablement strategy has bridged the content gap between marketing and sales, enhancing efficiencies in both areas to make everyone’s jobs easier.

Indirect sales enablement
Demonstrate the positive impact your sales enablement strategy has had not only on your organization but also on your partners, resellers and other non-internal stakeholders.

Exceptional graphical design/Most creative Showpad experience
Demonstrate how you have pushed the creative boundaries of your channel branding, to ensure your company brand stands out whilst sales are engaging audiences in the field. This can also include the creative used in own content uploaded to channel.

  • Who can enter?

    The SAM Awards are open to all users of Showpad and are free to enter.

  • Why should I enter the SAM Awards?

    Winning or being shortlisted for a SAM Award establishes your business as a true innovator in the field of sales enablement, demonstrating outstanding sales and marketing collaboration within your organization and exceptional customer engagement and loyalty.

    You will receive valuable feedback from our seasoned judging panel, led by Jacques Sciammas, President of Selling to Executives.

  • Is there a prize for winning a SAM Award?

    As well as receiving a personalized award to display in your office, two key members of the winning sales enablement teams in each category, will win two places on a trip to Barcelona - one night stay with a sunrise hot air balloon trip - along with the other winners.


  • How do I enter?

    To enter one or more of the above categories, simply download our SAM Award entry form and complete the information as required. You can also contact your Showpad representative who will be happy to assist you in drafting the submission. Once completed please email to by 6pm CEST Tuesday September 5.

    Showpad customer coaches will also be selecting customers to put forward for nominations, and will contact an appropriate person in this case.

  • Tips for entering

    Some tips for entering the awards:

    • Give each entry a unique and eye-catching title to grab the judges’ interest – try to avoid generic names.
    • When writing your entry, don’t assume the judges know about your business case. Give clear, concise answers in the brief, as well as objectives and results. If you can include figures in your results – i.e. general results or pre-project vs. post-project – this is encouraged. If the information is sensitive and not for re-publication, write confidential beside such text.
    • Judges will be looking for evidence of innovative and effective uses of Showpad’s sales enablement platform.
  • Entry rules
    • Entries are open to all Showpad customers.
    • If you submitted a business case entry for the SAM Awards 16, you cannot submit the exact same business case for this year’s awards. You can however submit a new business case into a category you did enter last year.
    • Work entered into more than one category will be treated as a completely separate entry.
    • Entries must be emailed to no later than 6pm CEST Tuesday September 5.
    • Showpad will promote finalists and winners in the run up to and after the awards in marketing communications. If you are successful as a finalist/winner you will be advised of our timelines to do this at the appropriate time*
    • The judges’ decision is final.
  • How will my entry be judged?

    Once entry for the SAM Awards has closed our judging panel will review all award submissions and supporting material included. They will then select five companies per category to present their entry to them either in person or via a video call.

    Once this process is complete, judges will select their final five finalists - including the winner - for each category.

    Winners will be announced during day two of Showtime17 at the SAM Awards 17.

    * By submitting to these awards, you agree to allow your story, logo and company name to be used in promotional elements by Showpad should you be shortlisted.
